And I'd just like to say that we've had in this village one of the best brass bands in the country. In fact, at one time we were recorded as the 10th brass band, best in the country. It's we're in the Guinness Book of Records because we did 14 competitions in one year, 12 firsts, one second and one third. It's never ever been replicated. This village we're very, very lucky to have the players that it had at that period of time. But obviously when the Colliery closed, the band went with it. So what can I say? My wife and I, Janet Bailey, we both had 115 years together in playing brass band music and both started with Calverton Colliery.
