What a great project. My name's Sandra, I've lived here since 2002, and I've wrote a little poem about it.
We moved to bottom estate in 2002, a quieter place that is true. The kids changed schools and one started new. At Homestead Ministry we had a great view. Countryside on our doorstep, Oxton woods and the lane. A big welcome from the locals, the schools were the same. Mr. Pope, Mrs. Glover, in fact you all did brill, at welcoming the outsiders, Oh, what a thrill. Calverton has a lot going for it, the VGT and the Core. So please make the most of it, before it is no more. Thank you.
