My name is Heather Howison. When my mum and dad came into Calverton, they rented a bungalow from Mr and Mrs Hunt before the house that they went into, which was Park Road, which was a pit house. So they were the first people to go into the pit house on Park Road. And we also used to have great times at the play centre where, I could remember the play centre and the house that we lived in was absolutely beautiful and it wasn't a pre-fab, it had a tie-wood roof.
